While creating content on my own YouTube channel, I gained experience in content writing and digital marketing. What I Did

Photography Shoots

The seasonal shoots for IN Street were completed in collaboration with a high-caliber production team and professional models. These sessions successfully introduced our new season products to a broad audience and utilized the resulting images to enhance our digital communication strategies through effective use on our social media platforms.

Commercial Shoots

I actively participated in the advertising campaigns for the Fall-Winter 2023 and Spring-Summer 2024 seasons, contributing to the enhancement of our brand perception through advertisements broadcasted on television and various digital channels.

TikTok Exchange

Within our TikTok projects, TikTok trends were captured with professional production and a large team. The goal was to rejuvenate our TikTok account and increase brand awareness among our target demographic of 18-30 years.

Instagram/TikTok Projects - Kimin Kombini bu?/ Whose outfit is this?

In the first project, I generate images with the help of ChatGPT and then publish these images on Instagram and TikTok in video format. Each video is based on a unique outfit combination designed by ChatGPT for randomly selected movie or series characters. The primary goal of this initiative is to actively use AI technologies and maintain a connection with the digital world.

Instagram/TikTok Projects - YouTube

In my fourth year of university, I launched a YouTube channel where I began sharing videos that provided insights into psychology. I regularly produced and uploaded a substantial collection of content. However, after transitioning into a career in social media, I ceased publishing new material on the channel.

TikTok Branded Mission

A comprehensive campaign was launched to reinforce IN Streets communication for the Fall-Winter 2023 season. The brand awareness was significantly increased through a uniquely designed quick effect and a hashtag campaign, leveraging content created by both influencers and TikTok users. Our core message, "Reflect Your Style!", reached a wide audience through this initiative.

Raffle Campaign

To boost our in-store and online sales, we organized a promotional raffle. For every 250 TL spent, customers were awarded an entry into the draw. This campaign, featuring coveted prizes such as PlayStation consoles and iPhone 15 devices, was extensively marketed across our social media platforms.

Creator Shoots

Numerous creator shoots were conducted for IN Street, Reebok, and Kinetix brands to enhance store sales and promote seasonal campaigns to a wider audience. These pieces of content were shared organically on our social media channels and were also supported by paid advertisements to reach broader audiences.

Podcast

This personal project, co-managed with my boyfriend, involves creating episodes from stories written with three unrelated words, then narrated in our own voice tones using AI-assisted voiceover technology. The purpose of this project is to foster creativity and efficiently utilize AI tools.

Instagram/TikTok Projects - Son Bir Şans/One Last Chance

My second project is co-managed with a close friend. We visit venues that have received negative reviews and share our experiences with our followers. This way, we decide whether the venue deserves a second chance. By taking a path contrary to other content creators who usually review the most popular locations, we aim to reach a broader audience.

LETTER OF INTENT

Journey of Illumination: From Psychology to Digital Frontier

My name is Nurbanu, which means "the woman who emits light" in Turkish. The meaning of my name has always been a driving force for me. Thanks to this power, I have made it my mission to spread light and enlighten those around me throughout my life. Additionally, being born on August 19th, the same birthday as Coco Chanel, is another detail about my life that secretly delights me.

When I graduated from high school at the age of 18, I moved to Istanbul with the dream of becoming a psychologist. During my 4-year undergraduate journey, I delved into dream analysis and received training from an experienced psychiatrist who established his own school of thought in Turkey. In my final year of university, fueled by my desire to explore the YouTube platform, I engaged in discussions to collaborate on a long-term YouTube project with a prominent educational channel. However, the heavy contract terms led me to consider establishing my own channel. After delivering a compelling motivational speech to my family, I persuaded them to invest in a professional camera. Soon, I found myself in front of the camera, sharing the most intriguing insights related to psychology. I also involved my boyfriend in my journey and began regularly posting videos on my YouTube channel. During this process, I gained experience in various areas such as research, content writing, video editing, and Google advertising.

While continuing my internship as a psychologist after graduation, I found an online copywriting internship to earn money on the side. A month later, I joined the outsourcing team of the company where I interned and started freelancing as a copywriter. My journey in copywriting continued through several companies thereafter. During this time, I was both gaining experience and earning more money. Then one night, while lying in bed, I realized that what brought me joy was the digital world, and I no longer wanted to define myself solely as a psychologist.

As my journey in writing continued, I crossed paths with a mobile application aimed at serving pet owners. Leveraging my experience from managing my own YouTube channel, I began managing the social media accounts and digital advertising of this application. Subsequently, I continued to work with another mobile application and a dietitian.

While freelancing, I realized my desire to view the digital world through the eyes of major corporations. Having reached the limit of what I could learn on my own, I sought to learn new things from experienced professionals in the industry. With this goal in mind, I started applying for jobs. Shortly thereafter, I began working as a digital channels and social media specialist at Flo, one of Turkey's most well-known retail brands. Currently, under the Flo umbrella, I am responsible for the social media communication of the IN Street, Reebok, and Kinetix brands. In this journey where I have experienced things I never could have imagined, I am excited to learn new things every day. When embarking on a new project, I first ask myself whether I am happy. After receiving every "Yes!" answer, I repeatedly prove to myself how right of a decision I made regarding my life.

In a world where taking big risks can be scary, I congratulate myself every day for taking a different career path and taking a big risk. I am very excited for the rest of my life. The thought of "Who knows what else I will do?" is my motivation even after the end of the workday. My next goal is to be involved in even more meaningful projects and to work on a global scale.
